The Executive Board of Asharqia Chamber Young Businessmen Council, chaired by Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Breikan, reviewed in its second meeting in 2019 "Sanah" initiative that aims to provide a range of industrial land at a nominal price that to create an investment environment incubator for light national industries.
The meeting was held on Monday at the headquarter of the Chamber.
Al-Breikan said at the meeting that the initiative, which is honored by the patron of the Prince of the Eastern Region His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, which is in partnership with the Regional Secretariat, diversifies investments and local industries for young men and women in the region through an electronic mechanism based on criteria for selecting the best beneficiary and high governance.
He explained that the initiative aims to achieve the contribution of small and medium enterprises sector in the gross domestic product from 20 percent to 35 percent, which is a translation to see the initiative to be an attractive environment in the incubator industry for entrepreneurs in the Kingdom and contribute to growth and prosperity, which is based on its mission to provide facilities on the industrial lands of entrepreneurs in order to support the industrial sector and strengthen the national economy.
He pointed out that the initiative aims to provide 211 entrepreneurs in industrial lands.
As for the targeted clients, Al-Breikan said that any Saudi young man or woman can apply for the initiative in accordance with the general conditions, which is to have a high school diploma, has experience in the field of investment and wishes to work with, and not to be less than 21 years of age and no more than 45 years.
He pointed out that the steps of registration and submission start with registration and activating the account through filling the feasibility study, and then submitting the request, then the evaluation of the Committee, and then the nomination for the interview and finally the final evaluation and the result.
